(The following text is from ABA's 2008 magazine) Annual Boat Parade of Lights Lake Havasu City, Arizona DEC. 5-6 In the desert oasis of Lake Havasu City, thousands of spectators watch a waterfront procession presenting light displays, animated scenes and festive music. Vessels glide through the Bridgewater Channel, past the English Village and under the illuminated, historic London Bridge for judging. Each boat is decorated by teams of boaters from across the Southwest. Over the years, the Parade has evolved into one of the largest and most uniquely situated events of its kind. A radio broadcast narration describes each vessel’s detailed decorating theme and tells about team participants. Motorcoach groups enjoy free bus parking and a special holiday package, including a festive dinner, live entertainment and reserved VIP seating for the Boat Parade.
